Was still present at noon Sunday October 23rd. Other birds seen along the
way - Bald Eagle - Blue-headed Vireo - Winter Wren - flocks of migrating
Black Birds... plus the to be expected varieties.

group of Wilson's. As was the case on Wednesday there were large numbers of
Yellow-rumped Warblers and R.C. Kinglets passing through which slowed us
down. Sparrows should start to move through soon.

- Bay
Breasted - Pine - Blackburnian and Canada. We didn't tally species but some
of the flocks were quite large and at one point we had a flock of 75/100
migrants stream by us at treetop level so quickly that we were only able to
identify one or two of the birds.

Good numbers of Killdeer, Semi-palmated - Least and Pectoral Sandpipers
along with Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs 2 Juvenile Baird's Sandpipers and a

On Monday Dec 10 a flock of 30 to 50 feeding on 20/25 roadside Crabapple
Trees on the property of Ferndale farm at 4250 Walkers Line in Burlington
about half way between #1 and 2 sideroads. The trees are well stocked with
fruit so it could be active for some time.
