Hi all,
I just received a call from Scott Connop saying yesterdays Western Grebe just
outside of Sarnia continues today. It has moved west a few hundred meters and
is now near the intersection of Old Lakeshore Rd and Centre Ave.

On Saturday Spetember 15, 8 birders met at Kettle Point to bird the area.
Visibility on the lake was horrific, as we couldn't see more than about 20m out
into the water first thing. We soon decided to head over to the Forest Sewage
lagoons, and found that clear blue skies and high visibility

I just had 4 Willets land on the beach of Canatara Park in Sarnia.
Directions:

Kit McCann and I just had the Gannet fly by us at the Burlington Beach. The
bird just went over the pier and out of sight.

Hi all!
Just had the Frigatebird floating along the shore right by the intersection of
Point Pelee drive and Mersea Rd 12, just about a km South of Pelee Wings. It is
still in the area as of 6:30am!

I just had an Plegadis Ibis sp. land out in the marsh of Holiday Beach CA. I am
unable to ID at current time, but will update later on.
The bird is fairly distant right now and a scope is recommended.

This morning at approximately 7:35 I had an apparent adult Laughing Gull fly
straight North over the Hawk Tower at Holiday Beach Conservation Area.
Holiday beach CA is about 15 minute drive SE from Amherstberg. Just off
Concession Rd 6 S, County Road 50.

90% sure that I had the Glaucous-winged Gull that has been being seen from port
Huron today at 2:35pm from Point Edward Lighthouse.
It was first seen on the US Coastguard pier, but after about 5min of viewing
half the gulls took off and I followed the gull in flight as it flew north

Bird was with white-winged and surf scoters half way between the green and red

till it ends a Victoria Ave. Keep headed West till you hit Fort St. and turn

Located between Minielly Rd and South Plympton Rd on Confederation Line. There
were 31 Am. Golden-Plovers, 1 Buff-breasted Sandpiper, and about 45 Killdeer in
a cut wheat field with two small flooded puddles. The puddles are located close
to the road and the plovers were not at all skittish

There were 2 clay-coloreds yesterday in wawanosh wetlands. Same location as one
was reported days previous. Birds were not associating with each-other.

Went looking for the slaty-backed gull reported on the St. Clair River today,
and found a bird that seemed to fit the description. It was seen among many
other gulls just south of Courtright. Bird had a bit of streaking on the head
and neck, too much for a GBBG, bird was slightly larger then a

Today there was a Pomarine Jaeger at Kettle Point, as well as two other jaegers
to far out to tell which type. Also all 3 scoters were seen.
