The Whistling Duck which went missing for a few days and was previously
seen near Hillman Marsh and Leamington Harbor has turned up at a new
location which I believe it hasn’t been seen before at the Sturgeon Creek
Marina which is accessed as you drive south from Leamington towards Point
Pelee alon
Mi amigo, Victor M Serrano has just turned up another Black-bellied
Whistling Duck which is likely the same bird Dean Ware found a few days ago
but had since went missing.
The bird is showing now at the Leamington Marina (where the boats are
docked, not the beach side) which is at the south end of
Nancy McPherson just reported to the Pelee Whatsapp group that the
Whistling Ducks are back at same spot at Muddy Creek, Wheatley.
First report all day.

I just noticed a Facebook post to Ontario Rare Bird Alert that Xander
Campbell saw the Black-bellied Whistling Ducks again tonight at 7:30pm and
no other reports other than this evening reappearance that I heard of.
They were in the same location, seen in trees at Muddy Creek across from
Cavendis
Is now along the main road across from the marsh trail entrance looking
east into the woods.

Jeremy Bensette, Lindsey and Michelle Valliant and I are currently watching
a Eurasian Collard-Dove at the Gore Hill public school which is east of
Leamington on Seacliff drive east.
The bird has been near the baseball diamond and on the telephone wires
along Seacliff Drive.

Alan Wormington and I just had an immature Neotropic Cormorant flying off
the tip at point pelee and so far we have not re-found the Bicknell's
Thrush but will post immediately if we do.

Adam Pinch just found six white pelicans which are being seen from the
bridge on the east side of hillman marsh which is not the bridge next to
the entrance of the shorebird cell and is the next bridge as your heading
towards Lake Erie. Hillman Marsh is around 8km east of Point Pelee.

I just had a Neotropic Cormorant fly over sturgeon creek marina along side
a double-crested cormorant, they circled the marina and flew back out to
the lake. I followed them and scoped the birds flying south towards Pelee
Island over the lake out of view. Perhaps someone will come across them
aga

Tom Preney has just located a Bells Vireo in the SW corner of sparrow
field...we all saw it well and clear photos were taken.

I put a green chain on the beach, for 25mins the bird has stayed in the
same spot and is still there, you could literally sit in the chair and
watch the bird!
