Today Wendy Dey and I saw an Orange-crowned Warbler at the Humber Bay East Park
in Toronto. The bird was on the trail that runs east of the shallow ponds by
the parking lot and between the "creek" - like water feature to the south and
the bay and pond to the north (i.e. the northern part of
I observed and photographed a male King Eider in subadult plumage at Colonel
Samuel Smith Park this afternoon. It was feeding close to shore in a bay on
the north side of the southern peninsula, opposite the Marina, with a group
of Scaup, Red-breasted Mergansers and other duck. There was also a
