Seen at about 8:30 just off the breakwater. Unfortunately it flew towards the
next lighthouse (west) and disappeared. It may be back.

For information about ONTBIRDS
Searched from 10:30 to about 1:00 at last reported location plus other places
along creek, but no joy. At least one other area birder was also not
successful.

Despite the rain, we also saw five northern rough-legged hawks (one dark
morph), several red-tailed hawks, three northern harriers and one coopers hawk
in the eastern Ottawa fields.
A group of 20 long-tailed ducks flew by at Petrie Island. A lifer for me!
