I arrived just after 7 thus morning and spent 3 hours on the dikes,
including the east-west dike to view the north ponds and did not relocate
the pelicans. Great morning to view the Black terns, nesting Snapping
turtles and Trumpeter swan cygnets...

Seen well for 15 minutes at 5pm working the stream edge from the Visitor
Centre eastward .

Late this afternoon I spotted at least one Ross's goose along the marsh
habitat in the SW corner of Collingwood Harbour. A 2nd individual may have
been a Ross x Snow hybrid as it was noticeably larger but did not have the
bill structure of a Snow goose. Photos posted on eBird.

into a tinboat across from #69 and then back west to the small bay.

The Reddish Egret gave good but somewhat distant views to a large group of
birders from about 10:45 to shortly after 11;00. It was across from the
Fen Boardwalk near the south end. It moved out of sight and did not
reappear over the next 45 min. Or so.
