slow wet day at the cranberry marsh hawk watch, only 1 each of red
shouldered,red tail and sharpie, 17 turkeys in the east side field on the way
up and 12 fox sparrows and barred owl, among many other birds at the 2nd

A scarlett tanager and a peregrine was seen at the otherwise very slow hawk

today at 11am, during a small warbler fallout, myself and 2 friends got good
looks at, pine.w,yellow throat.w, common yellow throat.w, blackpoll.w,
mourning.w, wilsons,w, blackburnian.w, black thr green.w, yellow.w, magnolia.w.
on trail down to the beach. also many flycatchers and vireos.
harlequin still on east side of pier today.

bohemian waxwings in balsam. dirs from east of ajax on bayly go north on
lakeridge to con 5 east to sideline 4 south 1/2 kms to fruit trees.

today at 11:30 I saw a single blue goose and an american widgeon in reesor
north pond.

Today at 2:30 I saw a pair of great egrets, 16 wood ducks(mostly males) and an
alder flycatcher in corner marsh in ajax.

at about 11am today in woodlands park in markham sean and I saw a pair of
bluebids on the woodland trail near the bird boxes. makes it worthwhile after
all the bluebird box cleaning!
the park is just south of steels ave at reesor rd.

snow geese on the lake at halls rd in whitby,east of lakeridge rd south of
victoria st.
