Pelicans on the St. Marys River in front of Station Mall, in Sault Ste.
Marie. We drove by again at 10:00am and could not relocate them.

Last night Erwin Meisner called me about a male Franklin's Gull in the Echo
Bay area. We went out there this morning and saw it in a corn field across
the road from 763 Lakeview Road. It was still there at 0900.

views. It has moved to the west cove this afternoon. A new addition to the

We checked Bellevue Park again at 4:30pm and the Tufted Duck has returned.
It was in the east cove of the yacht club. The Marbled Godwit was also still
feeding on the mud flats east of the yacht club.

Sault Ste. Marie, ON. I last saw it at 3:00pm today. I could not locate the
Marbled Godwit or the Western Tanager.

I just returned from Bellevue Park and saw the Marbled Godwit. The group of
scaup that we have been passing by each visit has a Tufted Duck with them.
It is a basic male in spring breeding plumage with a very good pronounced
tuft. Photos have been taken, so I can provide if requested. T
