This morning September 18 there were six Rusty Blackbirds in Bronte Marsh. They were gone at noon but two were visible from our balcony at 3 PM.

Directions: Exit the QEW at Bronte Road, go south to Lakeshore, turn right, cross the bridge and turn right at Triller. There is a path between the houses that leads to the pond which has extensive mud now.

There was a Great Horned Owl in the southwest part of Shell Park this morning. Shell Park is a little further west along Lakeshore. The owl was in the trees just north of the allotment gardens.
