I have a male Brown-Headed Cowbird currently at a feeder in my backyard at 944 Crozier Court in Mississauga. The bird appeared about 15 minutes ago at the seed feeder. The feeder is not directly visible from the street, but can be accessed by a side gate. Bruce Kennedy ___

Hello Ontbirders; I had the Brown-headed Cowbird at the feeder on the back deck about 9 am today. Got a couple of photos which I'll post on my Flickr later today (if the power is on). The bird appears to be a female, or immatureI'm not sure. I'm at 952 Ellen Ave., Glenburnie. Cheers, R

On two occasions since last Thursday, I have had a very hungry, male brown headed cowbird at my feeder, eating the finch seed. Could this be a sign of an early spring? Judy Kennedy, Lindsay, ON. Directions: Hwy 35 north from Hw7 to Penial Rd. West on Penial to entrance to Pleasantview Park.
