8:35pm driving on the 404 N there was / Is a Great Horned Owl on a light Pole at the end of the 16th ave On ramp to the 404 N.
I looped off at Major Mac and went 404 South and I stopped on the 16th Ave Off Ramp. There was a very large Owl on a light poll there as well. I managed some very poor pictures out my sunroof. It appeared to be a Snowy Owl, but think it was a large Barred Owl. I drove around into the Mazda head office trying to get a better view, but the Owl was gone.....Hopped back on the 404 N at 16th (Buttonville airport) and the GHO was still on the pole, its the 2nd or 3rd pole about 3/4 they way up the merge lane.... Figured no harm in posting of Owls since they won't be around in the morning..... Location of the 2 Owls: Buttonville Airport Markham 404 North at the 16th ave On ramp....... and 404 South 16th avenue OFF Ramp.
