4 Arctic Terns, Britannia Point, Ottawa.  The birds were perching on the rocks 
below the rapids and flying up and down the river.

Observed at 1.30pm from the Water Filtration Plant/Britannia Point.  Also, 1 
Common Tern (probably 2nd Summer?) and 6 Black Terns.  

Note: A scope is 
required and it is 'Open Ottawa Day', so there are a couple of Water Treatment 
workers in yellow jackets marshalling traffic to turn right at the fork in the 
road.  You need to slow down and indicate that you want to go straight on to 
the end of Cassels Road (see directions below).

"Britannia
Point" - Take Hwy 417 west to exit #129 (Pinecrest / Greenbank Rds.) 
then go north on Pinecrest to Richmond Rd. Right (east) on Richmond to 
Carling Ave. Right on Carling and take the 1st left onto Poulin Ave. 
Follow Poulin to Britannia Rd.. Right (north) on Britannia to where it 
ends at Cassels St. Go right (east) on Cassels and take this road right 
to the very end; park at the gravel area near the public boat launch 
beside the filtration plant fence.
