There is a big flock of Greater White-fronted Geese at the shorebird cell at Hillman Marsh - I have a minimum count of 51, and a mix of adults and juveniles. The juvenile Hudsonian Godwit found by Jeremy Hatt, Marianne Balkwill, Richard Carr and Rick Mayos is still here as well. No sign of the Cattle Egret.
Hillman Marsh is on Mersea Rd 2 east of Leamington. The Shorebird cell is just south of the main parking lot.
