This morning at 11am a single ROSS'S GOOSE was observed with several hundred CANADA GEESE in a large field off of CR-15 approximately 3.5 kilometers north of the village of Fournier. The goose was only a few hundred meters from the road, clearly visible through binoculars. Both its stubby bill and small size compared to the Canada geese aided in ID. Although the goose took flight with a dozen or so Canadas when I left the site, it might still be elsewhere in the surrounding agricultural area. The field I located the Ross's goose in is located at 45° 28' 2.9" by -74° 54' 1.7"
