A new wide and gravelled footpath has been opened running from Highway 48
near Highway 7 (south side) down to 14th Avenue.

I saw an accommodating Barred Owl on that path, near the north end, around
4:30 p.m.

To get to where I parked, find Cosburn Road, which is the first road east,
just past the Library/Arena complex, of Highway 48, running south off
Highway 7 (there is a stoplight). It's short, ending at a T-bone junction
called Rougecrest. Turn east (left) on Rougecrest and follow Rougecrest to
Fredrecton Road. Turn east (left( again) on to Billy Joel Cres. Follow it
(all distances very short) to Tuclor Lane, which goes only south (right
turn) down into a valley. At BOTTOM of hill, before climbing the other
side, park (there's a small space on the left, east side of the road).
You'll see the spiffy new park entrance across the road, to your west.
Enter and follow the white gravel path. The owl was immediately over the
foot patch (about 200 meters from Tuclor Lane) and to the left (south) but
could be anywhere in that region. He/she was not all that nervous, and gave
great views.
