AT 10 AM this morning I found a flock of 12 Black Scoter (9M 3F) out in the middle of the Ottawa River. I found the birds from the Deschennes Rapids Lookout on the John A Macdonald Parkway (Ottawa River Parkway).All in breading plumage.
The lookout can be accessed travelling east or west on the Macdonald Parkway and is the most westerly lookout on this road. Brian Mortimer 964 Normandy Cresc.
