Birders,

For those still looking to nab a Black Vulture for their Ontario year lists, I
thought I'd mention that the previously reported birds are still being seen
along the Niagara River, in the town of Queenston, just north of Niagara Falls.
Viewing is from the Locust Grove Picnic Area.

We viewed the 2 of the birds yesterday, in the company of Turkey Vultures, on
both the Ontario, and New York side of the river. Patience may be required
tough to wait them out until they fly over Canadian soil. I understand they
roost on both sides of the river, and they frequent the dump that can be seen
just over the river on the New York Side.

Certainly worth a visit if you are in the area!

Directions:

>From the intersection of York Road (81) and Niagara Parkway in Queenston,
>travel south east on Niagara Parkway, through the traffic circle, and the
>picnic area is immediately on your left. Parking is here and viewing is form
>the lookout over the river.

Good luck,
