I had an adult BW circle over me at county rd 5 & 33 today at 1:35 Dat.
Probably a resident bird or one getting a head start on its SW journey.
Frankford is 12 km north of Trenton Ontario

Hello fellow hawk watchers
Thought I would head northwest of London to see if I could find the
broad-winged hawk migration. I started west of Parkhill, birds were just
getting up out of the local wood lots. Drove down to Townsend Line (12) to a
more east to west road, came upon kettles east of
I observed a solitary Broad-winged Hawk today about 9:am flying
northwest over the QEW at Guelph Line, Burlington.

My reporting this autumn from Cranberry Marsh Raptor Watch is very
limited. As I am no longer driving I get there only when someone picks
me up. I have agreed to keep the data records, sending weekly reports
to Doug Woods.
It appears that the Broad-winged flight is over. Indeed the flight
path for
today Bev and I went looking for birds along Halls rood we found 3 horned
larks and at the end of the rood
a Broad winged hawk was hunting the shore line ( and fields ) nice to see
there back .
Halls rood is found by going south from exist # 410 from the 401 south to
Victoria st then west t
Hello everyone,
100+ Broad-winged Hawks were seen just west of Kitchener/Waterloo at 16:30
today.
Also,
1 Northern Parula today and 2 Blackburnian Warblers and 2 Nashville Warblers
yesterday.

Hey Birders,
We had a single adult Broad-wing fly low over our yard in Heidelberg this
afternoon. There were quite a few birds flying over while Mike and I were
outside, between 1-2:30.
Also seen were 16 Red-tail's, 4 Cooper's, 1 Sharp-shinned, 1 N. Harrier, 5
Turkey Vultures, 1 Common Loon an
If you are chasing the Snowy Egret, you might watch for an adult
Broad-winged Hawk circling above Carling Avenue near the intersection with
Bronson - it's right outside my window as I type - 2:26PM April 19.

Carol Edwards and I did a bit of birding in the Whitby area, today.
