Christine Trudeau and I were at the site (SW end of Dalkeith) late this
afternoon and did not see the bird. The people living adjacent to the site told
us that the oriole had been ''rescued'' last night.
We have no more details. If anyone has more information, please share with this
group.

The bird is present currently and was pointed out to us kindly by some local
birders. It is against the south end of the house under a grey pipegetting heat
at the sw end of of Dalkeith which is where it's favourite apple tree is. I do
not see how the bird will survive another cold night.
In its favourite apple tree at end of Dalkeith St in Pakenham at 7.30am
