Today (Sunday) at about 1230, I spotted a male Common Goldeneye at Bayfront 
Park.  It was resting on a rock only 2 metres from shore, at the 1600 m mark 
that is painted on the paved path (near where the Black Throated grey was seen 
this winter).

Hope this helps anyone who might be bird-a-thoning these days... Good luck!

Bayfront Park is in Hamilton and can be reached by travelling north on Bay St 
from York Blvd. and then making a left at the 4-way stop at Strachan.  The 
paved path where the Goldeneye was is accessed at the west end of the parking 
area, then walking past the boat launch.
