A group of us have found an Eared Grebe at the parking lot beside the entrance to Canada Centre for Inland Waters in Burlington. It was swimming relatively close to shore, on the south side of the big island. Photos taken.
Note that there are at least 3 Horned Grebes too, though they did not really associate with the Eared.
