Ontbirds,

Today on April 28 I watched for the first time Great Horned Owl on Eglinton 
Flats. I have been watching birds in this park since 2002.  

Eyes were closed, even when male Red-winged blackbird attacked back of the owl. 
Pictures taken from about 20 meters distance ( Nikon D 200, Sigma 150-500 Zoom).
I stopped in “my” park for 10 minutes to show it to friend of mine, it took 1 
hour ( 4:45 – 5:45 PM). We were going back from OFO trip to Minesing Swamp.
