Hello All,

I tried for this elusive bird on the morning of Saturday, 25 May and again on
the evening of 26 May, but did not find it.

However, there are lots of interesting birds in that area, including:

Yellow-throated Vireo – singing male on McKinnon Road about 1.2 km S of Conc. 2
American Bittern – at least four along McKinnon Road about 500 m S of Conc. 2
3 Sora, 1 Virginia Rail, 2 Black Tern, 28 Dunlin, 2 White-rumped Sandpiper, 2
Willow Flycatcher, 1 Bald Eagle, 3 Marsh Wren – same location
Common Nighthawk – at least 25 foraging around the intersection of McKinnon
Road and Conc. 2 on the evening of 26 May

McKinnon Road is about 500 m E of the Brentwood Road intersection with Mill
St., just E of Angus in Simcoe County (20 minutes W of Barrie).
