Today at about 2:15 pm I was driving along the 9th Line of Bradford-West
Gwillimbury just east of Hwy. 27 when I spotted an adult Golden Eagle heading
in a southwesterly direction at fairly close range. It was close enough to
readily see the "golden" nape feathers.
The bird was located north of the town of Bond Head on Hwy. 27. Turn right on
to the 9th Line and the bird was about .5 km coming from the northeast.
