Yesterday, Mac and Carolyn Ellis alerted me to a bird in town they thought might have been a Catbird. I checked it out today, and sure enough, there was one feeding on crab apples beside the Bank of Montreal in downtown Haliburton. There are also 20 Pine Grosbeaks feeding there presently.
The Bank of Montreal is on the Main Street (Highland St) in the village of Haliburton. The catbird was in the crabapple farthest from the road on the East side of the bank.
