Update on Mount Albert area Raptor. I am advised there had been a past
report of a leucistic Red-tailed hawk previously in the area. Dave Szmyr
contacted me today and advised he had seen a similar large white raptor
in the similar area back on January 15. He also saw it from a distance,
but saw
Yesterday, (April 1) late afternoon I saw a Gyrfalcon (white phase bird)
perched on the branch of a large maple tree overlooking the Vivian creek
valley and surrounding farmfields and woodlots south of the hamlet of
Mount Albert, in the Town of East Gwillimbury. Myself, and fellow birder
