Weather:
Bleak and overcast with moderate southwest wind, rain chased us away in the
early afternoon.

Raptor Observations:
A subadult Golden crossed low and close during the late morning, the day's
lone highlight.

Non-raptor Observations:
European Starling (1500+), American Goldfinch (60+), House Finch (3),
Tundra Swan (120+), Common Goldeneye (1)

Predictions:
Partly cloudy with highs in the mid 30s. Strong northwest wind is predicted
for a windchill in the mid teens. Sounds like a hand warmer day for sure.
Should hopefully be some birds moving with the northwest wind and today's
messy weather having passed.
