Temp got to a high of 13C as this unsaesonably warm weather continues. No cloud cover at all today. Raptor Observations: Today's total for raptors was 141. There's a fairly consistent pattern to flights at this point in the season with typically the bulk consisting of Redtails (105) and a smattering of other species...a late Osprey (1), a couple of Bald Eagles (2), Harriers (3)...a lone Cooper's Hawk was the only accipiter for the day...and some Red-shoulders (14) and a couple of Roughies (2). Highlight oday...Golden Eagles (7). Non-raptor Observations: Non-raptor avian species of note included 6 TUNDRA SWANS, WILD TURKEYS, HERMIT THRUSH, TREE / FOX / SONG SPARROWS, mixed flocks of PINE SISKIN & GOLDFINCH, and large flocks of CEDAR WAXWINGS and AMERICAN PIPITS.
