This afternoon at 4:00 P.M. there was an imm. Bald Eagle at the large Quarry pond on Moodie Dr. near Ottawa. Just after 4 it flew toward the Trail Rd. dump.
Also present were about a dozen first year Bonaparte's Gulls and one adult. Yesterday there were 3 adults and 3 imm. Directions: From highway 416 take the Fallowfield Rd. exit. Go west to first traffic lights which is Moodie Dr. Turn south (left). The pond is on the left side about 1 km. south of the Trail Rd./Cambrian Rd. intersection.
