Hi All,

This evening, I saw a juvenile Green Heron in a tree overlooking the stream on
the Thornton Cookstown Trans Canada Trail. The heron listened, fascinated for a
while while I talked and whistled bird like sounds.

Take highway 89 west of the 400 to highway 27, head south on 27 to 15th line
(Victoria St) and turn right on 15th line to the trail on the left. Take the
trail south of 15th line.

The bird was in a tree on the east side of the second bridge.

Happy birding!

Diana
