In a pond at the intersection of Eagleson and Bridgestone, a pair, among many Canada Geese and Mallards.
In the same pond, a very early (for here) Belted Kingfisher. Directions: Hwy. 417 west to exit 138. South on Eagleson about 5 km, to Bridgestone. Left (east) on Bridgestone. Park on the side of the street. Cheers, Michael Olsen P.s. A further few kilometres south on Eagleson, there's a Peregrine Falcon showing well on a power pole.... _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists (OFO) - the provincial birding organization.
