Hi Everyone
The male King Eider flew and is now resting in the bay just east of the
Shirley’s Bay boat launch parking lot.
Cheers

Hi everyone
There is a breeding plumage male King Eider (probably second year male)visible
now off Shirley’s Bay boat launch.
The boat launch is at the end of Rifle road which runs of Carling just west of
Moodie Drive.

Gillian Mastromatteo relocated the King Eider a few moments ago here at
Andrew Haydon Park.
Bird was close to shore of the Ottawa River near the west pond and is
mingling with the Canada Geeae and Mallards.
