In case anyone was thinking of heading out looking for the King Eider, the
male in full breeding plumage is still there.

I hadn't seen a report for a few days but my son and I decided to chance it
this morning and took our bikes down to the Leslie St Spit to take a look
for him.

It didn't take long for us to find him in the middle of Cell 3 amongst lots
of Scaup, Common and Red-breasted Mergansers, Canvasbacks and Long-tailed
Ducks.

Directions (from earlier reports) :

Leslie Spit (aka Tommy Thompson Park) is at the foot of Leslie street south
of Lakeshore Blvd in Toronto.
