This morning Rick Ludkin found a Lark Sparrow at the corner of Tyneside and Haldimand Road 66. I refound the bird at 1:00 p.m. and it was still there hopping around the barn on the northwest corner at 1:30 p.m..
Directions: Take Hwy 6 south almost to Caledonia. Turn left at the stoplight at Haldimand Regional Road 66. There is a sign for Ruthven just before it. Regional Road 66 comes to a T. Turn left at the T and this is a continuation of Regional Road 66. Take this around a large curve to the first major road which is Tyneside. The bird was near a barn at the white farm house on the northwest corner of Tyneside and Regional Road 66 . http://ca.maps.yahoo.com/#mvt=m <http://ca.maps.yahoo.com/#mvt=m&lat=43.0982&lon=-79.887424&zoom=13&q1=tynes ide%2520road%252C%2520hamilton> &lat=43.0982&lon=-79.887424&zoom=13&q1=tyneside%2520road%252C%2520hamilton Cheers, Cheryl Edgecombe _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
