We had a light phase Rough-legged Hawk circling over Hwy 6 at the south end of Wiarton just after noon today. I thought one we observed on May 5th at Dyers Bay in northern Bruce County was quite late, but this one is the latest Spring record I have had in Ontario.
Wiarton is north of Owen Sound on Hwy 6.
