Hi birders, At 4:25pm, the Little Egret was observed from our balcony.It was located near the same place as the American Avocet, but closer to the bike path. Same directions as for the avocet. Unfortunately, we don't see it right now. However, we'll keep looking and update if it returns. Cheerio

The Little Egret is currently roosting in a tree on Conroy Island, halfway across the Ottawa River from Brittania Conservation Area. It was near Ring-billed Gulls, as well as a Great Egret for a while, for a great size comparison. We also likely saw it very briefly flying over the conservation
