Dear Ont Birders; Little Gulls at Baie du Dore on 5th and 7th
February. At least 6 individuals mixed in with 30 or so Bonaparte's.
On the 5th a small frenzie of gulls feeding where the river water
flowed out from under the ice had 6 gull species Starting with
Great-black backed at the top Herring Ringbills and Iceland in between
and Bonaparte's and Littles at the bottom. Meanwhile the sky is active
with ducks and geese. The Baie is also where Bald Eagles winter and
many can be counted in the sky and sitting on rocks. Cheers James
