Good morning
I just had a Loggerhead Shrike at our farm in Sebringville. I was
alerted to the call, and found the bird perched and calling in the trees at
our irrigation pond. I confirmed the call notes with my Sibley phone app.
Interestingly, this bird was in the same location on our farm where a
Northern Shrike visited for 3 days, starting March 1, 2019. The Loggerhead
represents species 156 for our farm, since I began compiling in 1991.
Soiled Reputation is located at 4129 Road 130, just north of
Sebringville, Ontario.
