At 4:30 p.m. today there was a mixed flock of approximately 40 shorebirds in
the flooded field on the north side of Ravenshoe Road between Woodbine and
Warden.  I counted at least 6 Pectoral Sandpipers, 4 Dunlin moulting into
breeding plumage, 20 Greater Yellowlegs and 10 Lesser Yellowlegs.  I had 2 male
Blue-winged Teal as well as several pairs of Green-winged Teal and a scattering
of Mallards and 200 plus of Canada Geese.

Take the 404 north to Green Lane, go east to Woodbine Ave and then north to
Ravenshoe Road.  At Ravenshoe go east to the construction sign on the north
side of the road for best viewing of the flooded field.
