Hi Everyone!

Found a Northern Hawk Owl today at 10:30am at Flynn's Corners, west of
Buckhorn. It was very alert and sitting on top of a roadside tree (E side of
the highway).

Also observed an adult Bald Eagle hunting in the open water below the dam in
Buckhorn.

Directions: From Buckhorn, W on Hwy 36 to Flynn's Corners, the intersection of
Hwy 507 (road to Gooderham and Haliburton) and Hwy 36. The owl was about 100m
N of Hwy 36 on Hwy 507 in a roadside tree. It was observed again at 1:30pm,
but moved into the field on the W side of the road.

Cheers,

Ed Poropat
