Hello Ontbirders
Still 100's of Common Redpolls in the area and observed at least 1 Hoary
(exilipes) both yesterday, April 18th and today at the Hilda Road feeder near
Shirley's Bay. This is one of my few April records. Bohemian Waxwings continue
to pass through the area with a flock of 12 near Bells Corners and another
flock of 20+ near Carp today. Lots of land birds moving into the region
including Brown Thrasher, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Pine
Warbler, White-throated Sparrow, Fox Sparrow and Chipping Sparrow. Also
observed a Upland Sandpiper yesterday near Dunrobin.
Good Birding,
Bruce

Directions: From Carling Ave. head north on Rifle Rd then right onto Lois Ave
then right onto Hilda Road.
