4 Cackling Geese sighted at Sawmill Creek Constructed Wetland Facility in
Ottawa south. Two pairs, one of which was noticeably smaller were swimming in
the southern most pond this evening. Also many Red-winged Blackbirds and
hundreds of American Crows can be found in the area

As per Mark Gawn's report on November 29, a single CACKLING GOOSE is still
present at Andrew Haydon Park. This afternoon at around 1:30pm, I observed it
on the eastern duck pond, mingling with a few hundred CANADA GEESE.

Hi Everyone
Spent a few hours this afternoon birding the Moodie Drive ponds and surrounding
area. The gull activity was excellent with 7 species. Highlights included 5
Lesser Black-backed, 9 Glaucous, 7 Iceland, and one 1st winter Thayer's Gull. I

Hello Everyone
Today, October 17, 2007, birded along the Ottawa River from Britannia to
Constance Bay. At Andrew Haydon Park there was 1 Cackling Goose along with
100's of Canada Geese swimming along the shoreline. At Shirley's Bay, 2
Red-necked Grebes were observed off the end of the dyke.
