A Carolina Wren was singing and easily seen in the shrubs at the west end of the ridge/dyke at Mud Lake, Britannia Conservation Area, this morning from 8:00 - 8:30. This is a minor rarity of local interest. Directions to the area can be found online at the Ottawa Field-Naturalists' Club website.
