Greetings ONTBirders:

Last night, between 8-10:30pm, a friend and myself heard and saw three AMERICAN
WOODCOCKS peenting in the fields off Kettles Road in Munster. At least one
WILSON'S SNIPE was also winnowing overhead periodically.

DIRECTIONS: From Ottawa (Prince of Wales Drive), take Fallowfield Road for
25km, turning left onto Munster Road. Continue down Munster Road until it
ends, approx. 10km, turning left onto Kettles Road. Follow Kettles Road past
the railway and park on the side. The species mentioned could be heard and
seen in the fields on either side of the road.
