Hi Everyone This morning at around 10:30am I observed a flock of 9 Gray Partridge along Maple Grove Road. The partridge were feeding in a field along the Carp River. This is the same general area Gray Partridges have been observed during the past 4 or 5 winters. The habitat is slowly disappearing and I would recommend checking the area bordered by Huntmar Road, Richardson Side Road, Terry Fox Drive, and Maple Grove Road. Northern Hawk-Owls continue to move south. One was seen briefly yesterday, Dec.20th near the corner of Eagleson Road and Robertson Road at 9:30am and another was observed along Terry Fox Drive near Richardson Side Road on December 19th. Good birding, Bruce
