Hi Birders,
Pelee Island has been pretty active, similar to other sand-spits along Lake
Erie. Today Alvan Buckley and I noted a good push of migrants, with at least 26
species of warblers. In total around 130 species were seen throughout the
island.
Highlights are listed below:
Dickcissel -
Lighthouse Point was alive with a wide variety of warblers this morning
including MOURNING, PARULA, and a reported male KIRTLAND'S. Several CUCKOOS of
both species were easily spotted this morning.
A female KIRTLAND'S WARBLER was reported yesterday afternoon, seen by many
people at the
