Tony Bigg, Bob Prentice and I had a female Prothonotary Warbler at Second Marsh
at 9:30 today. The bird was foraging at eye level just south of the T-junction
of the trail that leads from the parking lot to the viewing tower and Cool
Hollow. A huge fallout of warblers and orioles was evident ... Canada,
Wilson’s, Blackpoll, Blackburnian, Tennessee, Parula. etc. + Scarlet Tanagers,
both orioles, Willow Flycatcher and much more. Also 3 Green Herons were
evident.

Oshawa Second Marsh can be reached by exiting 401 at Farewell Ave in Oshawa
(Exit 419) and going south to Col. Sam Dr. then east to the GM parking lot. The
trail starts in the southwest part of the parking lot.
