Hello Ontbirders, This is a reminder of the OFO Young Birders Peterborough Outing on Feb 8.
Leaders: Dave Milsom, Luke Berg and Matthew Tobey OFO is holding a bird outing for young birders age 7 - 18 and their parents or guardians on Saturday, February 8th in the Peterborough area. Target birds include Bald Eagle, Glaucous and Iceland gulls, ducks, woodpeckers, waxwings, Snow Buntings, Horned Larks, hawks and owls. The outing will be led by professional bird guide and OFO Board member Dave Milsom, and Luke Berg and Matthew Tobey, two expert young birders from Peterborough. Meet at 8:30 at the Peterborough Zoo parking lot at 1230 Water St. If you miss the start, you can call Dave Milsom on his cell at 705-772-4121 to catch up with the group. This will be an all day outing: there will be a stop for lunch but please bring snacks, drinks and a lunch if you wish. Minors must be accompanied by an adult since this trip involves driving.
