The Ross's Geese reported yesterday are currently feeding with Canada and Snow
Geese in a field across from the Coves cottages. Found by Stu Mackenzie at 7:30
this morning and still present.
This is 5 km. West of Port Royal on the Front Rd.

The flock was still present in the in the cornfield at 9:15 but they had
wandered back about 500 m from the Front Rd. and had disappeared behind a small
rise when I left them. The 3 Snow Geese were much closer to the road and still
visible. The Ross's flock increased overnight to 12 birds

At 4:30 this afternoon there were 7 Ross's Geese, plus two birds that were
mostly Ross's Goose but appeared to have some Snow Goose genes, in the field on
the NE corner of Front Rd. and the Walsingham W 1/4 Line.
This is about half a km. west of the Lee Brown WMA on the Front Rd. west of
Port
