A single Rufous Adult Ruffed Grouse has returned to the same spot as it was seen on April 24th, walking the fence line on the western side of Whitby Shores Greenway, slightly north of the catchment pond at #250.
Directions, Whitby Shores neighbourhood is directly east of the Lynne Shores Conservation area…from the 401 take Brock Road south exit turn west on Victoria. West on Victoria to the intersection of Seabord Gate and turn south into the neighbourhood. Take the first right onto Whitby Shores Greenway, and follow around to the catchment pond at #250. The bird was seen between the bicycle path and the fence at 9:15.
